Hospital Preference:

There are numerous universities providing Nursing education in Canada, however not all Canadian Universities have access to specific hospitals. For example: Ryerson School of Nursing has preferential access to downtown hospital placements. This includes: Sunnybrook, UHN, and St. Michaels Hospital. While York’s Nursing school may get some downtown placements their students will most likely do their placements outside of the downtown core. This includes: North York General, Etobicoke General, Credit Valley, and York Central. Course Load:
